Wikipedia`s definition of Vintage Clothing:
Generally speaking, clothing which was produced before the 1920s is referred to as antique clothing and clothing from the 1920s to 1960s is considered vintage.
According to the Ottawa vintage clothing show, vintage is much newer than this. We attended this show in hopes of getting rid of some old clothes of my moms for a profit. After speaking with the two vendors with the oldest stock we gave up and went to the bar.
Not a bad day in my books.
